I love fall parties! Autumn in Michigan seems to be a very festive time, and parties are plenty. One of my favorite dishes to make and take is this Beer Dip recipe that I found in a Taste of Home magazine like a million years ago. It is so simple and everybody LOVES it.
You simply mix cream cheese, beer and dry ranch dressing together. When finished with that, stir in shredded cheddar. DONE! Serve with pretzels.
The measurements of this recipe are spot on, giving you the best consistency and flavor. I use finely shredded cheddar, as I like the texture better than the regular. And most times I use a sharp cheddar for a little more impactful flavor.
