Nutella Banana Bread
Two of my favorites have finally come together in one recipe…banana bread and Nutella. And to make things even better, it is a healthy recipe, yay!!!
I have made this bread a couple of times now. I originally found it on the Slender Kitchen website. It is only 155 calories per slice, so it makes sense to have it on hand, right? The kids love it just as much as I do.
Super easy, too! Cream together butter and sugar. Stir in egg whites, vanilla, banana and apple sauce. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) in with the wet. Pour the mixture into the bread pan. Now for the Nutella…microwave it for 30-70 seconds until melted. Pour over the banana batter and swirl through using a knife. After 45 minutes, your loaf is done!
This bread has all the perks of banana bread, as the banana taste is very present and up front. The nutella is subtle, but deliciously nutty and a great add on to the banana. This loaf is sooooo moist and will stay good for many days.
If I were you, I would check right now to see if you have any super ripe bananas!!
