Strawberry Milkshake Cookies
In my quest to find cute things to bake for the girls for valentines day, I came upon these Strawberry Milkshake Cookies from the Southern Made Simple blog. I think we all know, valentines baking is more about pink and red food than flavor, haha, but this recipe is perfect for the kiddies.
This recipe starts by mixing the wet ingredients (eggs, vanilla and oil) together and set aside. In another bowl, combine strawberry cake mix, corn starch and baking powder. Add wet to dry mix and stir until cake mix lumps are gone. Fold in white chocolate chips and refrigerate for at least an hour. This is important because the batter is super sticky. Roll dough into balls and drop onto cookie sheet and cook for only 10 minutes.
Like I said earlier, these cookies are so cute and absolutely scream valentines day! They taste just like a strawberry milk shake and they smell SO good! They bake beautifully, with a soft center and crunch outside. My kids LOVED these cookies, but my husband and I found them quite sweet. That’s not a deal breaker though, as I only had one and thats a win for staying on my diet!
